Catering & Support Services Assistant
Location: Irvine, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Position Summary
A leading global law firm is seeking a Catering & Support Services Assistant to provide exceptional hospitality and office support services. Under the direction of the Support Services Supervisor, this role is responsible for conference room setup, catering coordination, kitchen and pantry maintenance, and general office support. The ideal candidate will be highly service-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare conference rooms for meetings, events, and client gatherings.
- Coordinate and place catering orders for meetings and firm events.
- Serve food and beverages for groups ranging from small meetings to large-scale events.
- Prepare and maintain beverage stations, cafés, pantries, and conference room refreshments.
- Ensure conference rooms, kitchens, and common areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Monitor and replenish inventory of office, kitchen, and hospitality supplies.
- Provide backup support for reception, mail services, scanning, faxing, photocopying, and other administrative functions.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to attorneys, staff, clients, and guests.
- Assist with additional office support projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year of hospitality experience in a professional services or corporate environment preferred.
- Experience working in an office support or administrative capacity.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a professional environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
- Ability to lift, move, and set up meeting and catering materials as required.
Compensation
- Salary range: $58,000 - $65,000 annually
